Lola Sagra – Nobleza del Sur: A Legacy of Excellence in Spanish Olive Oil

Nobleza del Sur have been producing award-winning Spanish olive oil  in Andalucia since 1640 on fertile land close to the Guadalimar river which enjoys a unique continental Mediterranean microclimate. 12 generations later, Lola Sagra manages the family farm and each year produces some of the best olive oils in the world. 

Year after year, Lola continues to set the standard for sustainably sourced olive oil, blending time-honored practices with modern innovation, technology and, of course, that beautiful packaging. Her dedication to crafting the very best cold-pressed extra virgin olive  has been producing multi-award winning olive oils that are enjoyed all over world for years and she is regarded as one of the world’s best olive oil producers working today. A firm believer in the benefits of olive oil, Lola is passionate about food and how it is produced and all of Nobleza del Sur’s output is early harvest high polyphenol olive oil. 

The Peñuelas-Sagra family have embraced the family tradition but also brought it into the 21st century and have a state of the art mill on the farm The olive groves span a total of 3,000 hectares much of which is farmed organically and each area produces its own very special harvest. Recently Lola has been joined in the family business by her daughter Lola who spent time learning English in Ireland!
