On Tuesday 8th October​ Borja Sanz of the multi-award-winning Finca la Torre will guide an Olive Oil Masterclass tasting followed by a relaxed, tapas-style food pairing supper featuring a bespoke menu of 6 plates prepared by Ken and Gwen of Assassination Custard. Each dish will be inspired by a unique single-estate extra virgin olive oil and complemented by the oil’s distinct set of notes and aromas.

Known for thrilling customers with their creativity, simple ingredients and no-fuss / down-to-earth approach, Ken & Gwen tend to use extra virgin olive oil in most of their dishes. This popup will showcase the versatility of great olive oil when paired with local seasonal Irish produce across a diverse range of exceptional dishes. Both sweet and savoury.

The evening will include a wine pairing by David Gallagher of Green Man Wines. A non-alcoholic wine pairing is also available.

Cost: €95 pp. This includes the Olive Oil Masterclass, food pairing supper of 6 plates and wine pairing (please advise if you would like the non-alcoholic pairing when booking)

Their simple approach based around a couple of growers and suppliers might be inspired but it’s their sheer stubborn belief in what they do that makes a pilgrimage to A.C. so worthwhile.
